Fiji is a gorgeous location and just so close to Sydney it makes it an easy location to travel with children.<\/p>\n

There is nothing worse than spending hours on a plane with kids so three hours is just perfect!<\/p>\n

WHERE ROXY STAYED<\/h5>\n

This time around we stayed at Six Senses<\/a> which was a beautiful location and easy to get to from Nadi airport.<\/p>\n

Editor\u2019s note: How to get there?\u00a0<\/em>The speedboat journey to Six Senses Fiji takes approximately 35 minutes from Denarau Marina. Alternatively, a short helicopter journey from the mainland (Nadi International Airport, Denarau or other locations) will whisk you to the resort\u2019s own helipad.<\/em><\/p>\n

PIXIE & HUNTER\u2019S MALOLO GO-TO\u2019S<\/span><\/h5>\n

  1. The children loved being able to walk to the Ice-Cream Store on the island, there was a sense of independence for them and\u00a0<\/span>we as parents felt comfortable as it was a small island.<\/li>\n
  2. Pizza nights were a firm favourite!<\/li>\n
  3. Six Senses also host big screen movie nights under the stars.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    HELPING HANDS<\/h5>\n

    We had help with local Fijian ladies every day and they were incredible, the Fijians are just wonderful with kids \u2013 a calmness that I wish I had!!<\/p>\n

    The kids got on incredibly well with the babysitters and the children were happy to see the back of us on their arrival!<\/p>\n

    IN ROXY\u2019S SUITCASE<\/h5>\n

    We went minimalistic this holiday.\u00a0Too often we leave home with bags full of stuff which we don\u2019t even end up wearing.<\/p>\n

    We took swimmers plus casual items we could match with different pieces this time \u2013 and it was perfect!<\/p>\n
