It was originally set for Aug. 20 and is now delayed until further notice.<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/internationaltradetoday.com\/article\/view?search_id=86140&amp;id=2828486\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ITT reporting<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CBP issued a<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/content.govdelivery.com\/bulletins\/gd\/USDHSCBP-42582e3?wgt_ref=USDHSCBP_WIDGET_2\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CSMS message<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> stating that HTSUS subheadings associated with Section 301 duties on certain products from Brazil and those associated with Section 301 duties on forced labor are drawback eligible.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CBP issued a<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/content.govdelivery.com\/accounts\/USDHSCBP\/bulletins\/4258fa0?reqfrom=share\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CSMS message<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> advising customs brokers to use the ACH Rejected Refunds Report in ACE to help importers identify refunds that have been rejected due to missing out on ACH enrollment. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>Administration<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">President Trump issued a<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/presidential-actions\/2026\/08\/temporary-suspension-of-additional-duties-to-offset-canadian-discrimination-against-the-commerce-of-the-united-states-with-respect-to-alcoholic-beverages-dairy-and-motor-vehicles\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">proclamation<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> delaying the imposition of 50% Section 338 tariffs on some products from Canada until 12:01 a.m. on Aug. 22, while the U.S. and Canada finalize a deal.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The DOJ published a<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.federalregister.gov\/documents\/2026\/08\/18\/2026-16846\/establishing-the-national-fraud-enforcement-division\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">notice<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> establishing how the department will divide trade fraud. An assistant attorney general for the fraud division will handle cases previously delegated to the assistant attorney general for the criminal division.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>U.S. Department of Commerce<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Commerce Department published a<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.federalregister.gov\/documents\/2026\/08\/19\/2026-16859\/amending-procedures-for-submissions-by-importers-of-automobiles-qualifying-for-preferential-tariff\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Federal Register notice<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with revised procedures that change when importers must submit documentation to reduce Section 232 tariffs on USMCA\u2011qualifying automobiles.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>U.S. Trade Representative (USTR)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">South Korean Industry Minister Kim Jung\u2011kwan<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.motir.go.kr\/kor\/article\/ATCL3f49a5a8c\/172114\/view\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">met<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer and raised concerns over ongoing Section 301 investigations.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">OFAC issued a new Cuba-related Frequently Asked Question,<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ofac.treasury.gov\/faqs\/added\/2026-08-06\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FAQ 1264<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: \u201cI am a non-U.S. person engaged in humanitarian activities specifically looking to send food, medicine, or medical devices to Cuba.
