In September 2017, we launched the Leadership Vision Podcast<\/a> with a simple question: What is Leadership Vision?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the time, much of our work centered on StrengthsFinder and a belief that knowing your Top 5 Strengths<\/a> was only the beginning. The real value came from understanding the behaviors behind those Strengths, seeing how they showed up in relationships, and using that understanding to help people and teams work better together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also believed something that continues to shape our work today: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

people are best understood in relationship with others. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Teams can become places where we see ourselves more clearly, learn to appreciate the unique contributions of others, and build cultures <\/a>where people can thrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A lot has changed<\/a> since we recorded this first episode. Our language has evolved, our work has expanded, and our understanding of people, teams, and organizational culture has deepened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But listening back, many of the questions that started this podcast are still the questions we\u2019re exploring today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2017, much of our work was about helping people better understand themselves and one another through Strengths. That work remains part of our story, but today we\u2019re asking an even broader question: What do people, teams, and organizations need to thrive?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Future of Leadership Vision<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As we look toward the next chapter of Leadership Vision, we\u2019re focusing our work around four elements we believe strengthen both performance and well-being: Clarity<\/a>, Alignment<\/a>, Resilience<\/a>, and Engagement<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clarity to name the realities and opportunities in front of us. Alignment to move in the same direction, on purpose. Resilience to navigate what we can\u2019t predict. And Engagement so people connect and commit instead of check out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We call it CARE<\/strong>, and you\u2019ll be hearing much more about it in the months ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For now, we\u2019re going back to the beginning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
