This sweet harvest crate for fall is the perfect way to add a little cozy charm to your home! Fill it with your favorite seasonal finds!<\/em><\/p>\n

Hello sweet friends!<\/p>\n

Happy Trashy Treasure Tuesday! Hope you had an amazing weekend! We had a pretty busy one ourselves. And yep, the weather is still stifling, so I\u2019m eyeing fall very expectantly! haha!! I am so looking forward to crisp fall days after all of this crazy humidity. Ugh. So, you might have an idea where I\u2019m going with today\u2019s makeover.<\/p>\n

EDITED to add: my post is late today because I was in the middle of writing it early last evening when this huge, crazy storm blew in out of nowhere. Hail, strong winds, rain, tons of limbs and power lines went down. Tons of huge trees down, one right through the middle of a neighbor\u2019s house a few doors down from us. It was the craziest thing we\u2019ve ever seen in our 20+ years living here. Absolutely worse than any hurricane we\u2019ve lived through here! TONS without power in our area. Thankfully, our lineman worked very hard through the night, and our power came back on at 7:30 am.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

\"A<\/p>\n

New here? The second Tuesday of every month, my friends and I get together to share our latest trashy treasure makeovers. Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom to see theirs.<\/p>\n

I found this wood crate a while back. I think I paid $7 for it. It was either the ReStore or Goodwill; I can\u2019t remember, but it was one of those.<\/p>\n

\"A<\/p>\n

It\u2019s on wheels \u2013 how fun.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the inside\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

\"A<\/p>\n

You know I\u2019m doing something for fall with this, right??<\/p>\n

I lightly sanded all around the outside.<\/p>\n

\"A<\/p>\n

It oddly turned that color as I sanded.<\/p>\n

Then I wiped it all down and painted it with Victorian Lace paint<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"A<\/p>\n

And lightly sanded to \u201crough it up\u201d once dry.<\/p>\n

I found this old transfer leftover from this project: Fall Festive Transfer Decor<\/a><\/p>\n

\"A<\/p>\n

You can find the transfer here<\/a>. I think I have 2 of these left!<\/p>\n

I placed it right in the middle.<\/p>\n

I also had these two little pumpkins left over.<\/p>\n

I thought about putting them somewhere on the front, but ended up placing them on the middle back instead.<\/p>\n

Once that was done, I used Matte Tough Coat Topcoat around the entire outside.
The inside I left stained brown. I thought that would go great with the fall aesthetic.<\/p>\n

\"A<\/p>\n

Next, I grabbed my \u201cfall box\u201d out of the garage and threw this together quickly to get an idea of how I wanted to style it the next morning for photos.<\/p>\n
