The multi-purpose facility can be drawn and repaid at Air France-KLM\u2019s discretion. It has an initial maturity date of June \u00a02028, with a one-year extension option that could extend it to June 2029, subject to lender approval.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 1280px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/travelradar.aero\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/EHAM18072010_PH-BFC_KLM_4806800714.jpg\" alt=\"A KLM Boeing 747-400 Combi in KLM Asia livery\" width=\"1280\" height=\"948\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">Air France-KLM aims to diversify its financing sources \u00a9 Kok Vermeulen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>New Financing Supports Future Growth<\/h2>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The credit facility will be used to refinance existing financial instruments and could also support potential mergers and acquisitions from the second half of 2026, subject to the completion of relevant transactions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The new financing complements <a href=\"https:\/\/travelradar.aero\/air-france-flight-forced-to-abort-takeoff-at-los-angeles\/\">Air France<\/a>-KLM\u2019s existing liquidity resources and diversified funding structure.
