We can not say it enough. The occurrence of Covid-19, of this pandemic, has put our lives in some form of disarray. And for us parents, one of our main concerns is, obviously, the well-being of our children.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of all the \u201cchaos\u201d, it was actually interesting and a little exciting. Our family was adjusting and digesting the concept of a lockdown. Panic and worry were put aside or were purposely ignored. We were trying to amuse ourselves. I, as a parent, was curious on the kids\u2019 reaction to the whole lockdown\/pandemic thing that was happening. It was like being in a forced vacation (only you\u2019re vacationing in your own home).<\/p>\n

One Sunday afternoon at home (we were rarely at home on Sundays pre-pandemic)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

A few weeks into our lockdown (that first year), worry started creeping out. It was about summer time when the very first lockdown was implemented in the Philippines. I was ready with a trip out of the country and a few summer activities for the kids. So when Covid-19 happened and the situation seemed to take longer than anticipated, I started to get anxious. All the missed opportunities!!! Summer was about to end and we were not able to do A SINGLE THING!!!!!<\/p>\n

The kids were still doing fine until they became restless. It was becoming clearer each day. As the positive cases increased, it became clear that we will be in this pandemic for a loooooong time.<\/p>\n
