I\u2019ve always loved golf. For me, a day on the course feels like a little escape from the busyness of everyday life. You\u2019re outside breathing fresh air, getting some exercise, spending time with friends, and for a few hours, the emails, deadlines, and endless to-do list can all wait. It\u2019s almost like a mini vacation without ever leaving town.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s one of the things I love most about the game.<\/h3>\n

But over the years, there\u2019s one thing I\u2019ve noticed that has always made me wonder.<\/p>\n

A man can finish eighteen holes wearing a classic polo and tailored trousers, then head straight to a business meeting, lunch, or dinner without changing a thing. He looks polished, professional, and completely appropriate wherever the rest of his day takes him.<\/p>\n

For women, it\u2019s usually a different story.<\/h3>\n

If you\u2019re wearing a bright flamingo-print golf shirt and a sporty skort, chances are you\u2019re probably not walking into a boardroom feeling quite as confident. Somewhere along the way, men\u2019s golf apparel evolved into everyday style, while women\u2019s golf fashion often stayed on the course.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t think it has to be that way.<\/h3>\n

For years, women\u2019s golf apparel almost felt like it followed the \u201cpink it and shrink it\u201d philosophy. Take something designed for men, make it smaller, add brighter prints or louder colors, and suddenly it was considered women\u2019s fashion. No, thank you. Thankfully, women\u2019s golf fashion is finally catching up with the way we actually live. Praise the fashion angels!<\/p>\n

Today\u2019s woman isn\u2019t just playing golf. She\u2019s building businesses, traveling, volunteering, raising a family, meeting friends for lunch, and somehow still trying to carve out a little time for herself. Our wardrobe should be able to keep up with the lives we actually live.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s exactly why I was so intrigued when I discovered Crossover Golf<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Founded by couture-trained designer Melanie Friedman, a graduate of Central Saint Martins in London\u2014the renowned fashion school that also nurtured designers like Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, John Galliano, and Zac Posen\u2014the collection approaches golf apparel from an entirely different perspective.<\/p>\n

These aren\u2019t simply golf clothes.<\/h3>\n

They\u2019re beautifully tailored wardrobe pieces designed with the same attention to fit, craftsmanship, and proportion you\u2019d expect from luxury fashion while still performing beautifully on the golf course.
You can see it in every detail.<\/p>\n

The elegant tailoring.
The flattering silhouettes.
The genuine mother-of-pearl buttons.<\/p>\n

One of my favorite details? Crossover Golf even built a tee holder right into the sleeve. It\u2019s those thoughtful touches that make such a difference.<\/p>\n

The refined collars\u2014even thoughtfully designed to help resist foundation and concealer stains, something I especially appreciate as a makeup artist.<\/p>\n

One of the things that impressed me most wasn\u2019t just the tailoring\u2014it was the fabrics.<\/p>\n

As someone who spends my life around makeup, skincare, and fashion, I notice those little details. During a photo shoot, I accidentally got makeup on one of the pieces and immediately thought, \u201cOh no.\u201d To my surprise, it wiped right off.<\/p>\n

We don\u2019t just want clothes that look beautiful.

I\u2019ve always believed the best pieces in your closet are the ones you reach for again and again. I travel all the time, so versatility is everything to me. I love packing pieces that don\u2019t wrinkle, feel comfortable all day, and can take me from the golf course to dinner, a business meeting, or a flight with just a few simple accessories. That\u2019s smart fashion\u2014and exactly what I look for when I invest in quality clothing.<\/p>\n

One of my favorite looks has been pairing my Crossover golf trousers with one of their polos, adding a beautiful designer belt, my favorite black ZARA blazer, and a great pair of heels. It\u2019s amazing how easily the look transitions from the golf course to a meeting or dinner.<\/p>\n

After more than thirty years in the beauty industry, one thing I\u2019ve learned is that confidence isn\u2019t about perfection.<\/p>\n

It should simply help you feel like the very best version of yourself.
When your clothes fit beautifully, move effortlessly, and simply work, you stop thinking about them.<\/p>\n
