Meet the 2024 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zeroto60times.com\/vehicle-make\/ferrari-0-60-mph-times\/\">Ferrari Purosangue<\/a>, which happens to be the most controversial Ferrari since they put paddle shifters in the F355 and traditionalists had a meltdown.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s be clear about one thing right away though, Ferrari does not want you calling this an SUV. Nope. It\u2019s a \u201cfour-door, four-seater Ferrari.\u201d You know, like the FF and GTC4Lusso, but with more ground clearance and actual usability.<\/p>\n<p>So, is the Purosangue a sellout move, or is it the best thing to happen to Ferrari since Enzo himself? Let\u2019s dig in and see what this performance SUV\u2026 oops, I mean \u201cfour door, four seat Ferrari\u201d, is all about.<\/p>\n<h2>Supercar DNA With an SUV Body<\/h2>\n<p>At first glance, the Purosangue looks like a mutant offspring of an F12 Berlinetta and a Lamborghini Urus. It\u2019s low-slung for an SUV, aggressive as all get-out, and dare we say it\u2026pretty damn good-looking.<\/p>\n<p>The proportions are sleek, with a long nose, wide haunches, and a stance that says, \u201cI can drop your kids off at school\u2026 at 193 mph.\u201d The suicide rear doors (yes, really) add a touch of drama, and the lack of traditional door handles keeps it looking sharp and modern.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-107086\" src=\"https:\/\/www.zeroto60times.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Ferrari-Purosangue-Reviews.png\" alt=\"Ferrari Purosangue Reviews\" width=\"740\" height=\"408\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.zeroto60times.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Ferrari-Purosangue-Reviews.png 740w, https:\/\/www.zeroto60times.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Ferrari-Purosangue-Reviews-300x165.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 740px) 100vw, 740px\"\/><\/p>\n<h2>Under the Hood: Because a Ferrari SUV Needs a Proper Ferrari Engine<\/h2>\n<p>Ferrari could have taken the easy route and shoved a twin-turbo V8 in this thing, but no. They decided to go all out with a naturally aspirated V12. No. But does that matter? Absolutely not.<\/p>\n<p>The Purosangue\u2019s V12 is a thing of beauty, revving out to a glorious 8,250 rpm with a soundtrack that makes even the most hardened SUV critics weak in the knees and giggle like little school girls. A big SUV that feels as agile as a Ferrari should.<\/p>\n<p>Steering is razor-sharp, response is immediate, and despite the all-wheel-drive system, it still feels like a rear-wheel-drive Ferrari when pushed hard.<\/p>\n<p>Sure, it\u2019s not a 296 GTB, but compared to other <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zeroto60times.com\/body-style\/high-performance-suv\/\">performance SUVs<\/a>? For a family hauler, that\u2019s\u2026 a lot.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Tech Interface<\/strong>: Ferrari\u2019s infotainment system is still a bit clunky. For around a half a million bucks, it should be flawless.<\/li>\n<li><strong>No Plug-In Hybrid Option<\/strong>: Ferrari has good hybrid tech in the SF90 and 296 GTB, so why not offer it here for extra efficiency and power?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Verdict: A Super-SUV Done the Ferrari Way<\/h2>\n<p>The Purosangue is everything Ferrari fans feared, and everything they secretly hoped for. It\u2019s fast, loud, impractical in all the best ways, and totally unnecessary\u2026but that\u2019s exactly what makes it so great.<\/p>\n<p>Sure, it\u2019s expensive. Sure, it\u2019s an SUV that Ferrari won\u2019t dare to call an SUV.
