I\u2019ve found scriptures for when someone hurts you. Some wounds don\u2019t leave bruises that anyone can see.<\/p>\n

Instead, they leave sleepless nights, unanswered questions, and a heart that struggles to trust again.<\/p>\n

Perhaps your spouse withdrew emotionally after years of marriage. Maybe an adult child said something you never imagined hearing. A lifelong friend disappeared when you needed them most. A family member betrayed your trust. Or maybe someone at church\u2014where you expected grace and compassion\u2014became the source of your deepest hurt.<\/p>\n

If that\u2019s where you are today, you\u2019re not alone.<\/p>\n

The Bible never minimizes emotional pain. Throughout Scripture we meet people who experienced betrayal, rejection, abandonment, disappointment, and grief. <\/p>\n

Yet woven through every page is the same reassuring truth:<\/p>\n

God is able to heal what people have broken.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When my mother<\/a> was ill, there were several family members who could have come around, but did not. That hurt me so much. I struggled to care for her. <\/p>\n

I stopped my life. I gave my last penny, but many of them were absent. None came to visit her. None called her. <\/p>\n

But, when she passed, they wanted to sit up front and center. That hurt me deeply. <\/p>\n

When she needed care and my money ran low, some even wanted to stop the sale of her home because they deemed it heir property. <\/p>\n

Property none of them helped pay taxes on, helped with upkeep or rarely even visited. <\/p>\n

My heart was broken. <\/p>\n

I had to turn to forgive<\/a>, but I could only do that after turning to God\u2019s Word for comfort, reproof, and healing. Thank God each came. <\/p>\n

You must know that healing doesn\u2019t mean pretending the hurt never happened. <\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t always mean the relationship will be restored. <\/p>\n

Instead, biblical healing means allowing God to restore your heart so someone else\u2019s actions no longer define your peace, identity, or future.<\/p>\n

Whether you\u2019ve been wounded by a husband or wife, a child, a parent, a close friend, a church member, or someone you trusted completely, God sees your pain. <\/p>\n

He is not asking you to ignore it or simply \u201cmove on.\u201d <\/p>\n

That\u2019s what fake people do. <\/p>\n

No, He invites you to bring your broken heart to Him, where true healing begins.<\/p>\n

When someone hurts you deeply, it\u2019s easy to wonder where God is. <\/p>\n

You may pray through tears, asking why He allowed someone you loved to wound you so profoundly. David reminds us that God doesn\u2019t move away from brokenhearted people\u2014He moves closer.<\/p>\n

Perhaps your husband has become emotionally distant after years of marriage. Or worse, maybe he was unfaithful. <\/p>\n

Maybe your best friend stopped returning your calls, or your adult child has rejected your advice and created painful distance in your relationship. <\/p>\n

Those experiences can leave you feeling abandoned. <\/p>\n

But God\u2019s presence doesn\u2019t depend on another person\u2019s faithfulness. He\u2019s always with you. <\/p>\n

While people sometimes leave, disappoint, or betray us, the Lord promises to stay close to those whose hearts have been crushed.<\/p>\n

Deep emotional wounds often leave us afraid of what comes next. <\/p>\n

Will I ever trust again? Will I always feel this lonely? Can I survive if this relationship never changes?<\/p>\n

God answered those fears long before we ever asked them.<\/p>\n

Imagine a woman whose husband asked for a separation after decades together. God is with you \u2013 even in this.<\/p>\n

Remember, He doesn\u2019t promise that life will never hurt. Actually, he promises the opposite.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, He promises that He will strengthen you through the hurt. When your own strength is gone, His strength becomes enough.<\/p>\n

God is faithful not only when life is easy but also when your world feels like it\u2019s falling apart. <\/p>\n

I\u2019ve noticed it is easier to say He is faithful when life is simple. <\/p>\n

But, faithfulness is His nature. <\/p>\n

His hand is strong enough to hold you steady until healing comes.<\/p>\n

God\u2019s Promise:<\/strong>\u00a0God doesn\u2019t simply tell you not to fear\u2014He tells you why. He is with you, He strengthens you, He helps you, and He holds you securely.<\/p>\n

Healing Truth:<\/strong>\u00a0God Heals Wounds That No One Else Can See<\/p>\n

Some injuries require stitches. <\/p>\n

Others require time. Lots of it.<\/p>\n

Emotional wounds often require both time and God\u2019s healing touch.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve noticed the deepest hurts usually aren\u2019t visible. <\/p>\n

They\u2019re the painful memories that surface unexpectedly, the tears that come while driving home from work, the anxiety before family gatherings, or the loneliness that settles in after everyone else has gone home.<\/p>\n

Can you relate to any of these? <\/p>\n

Perhaps someone spoke words you\u2019ll never forget. <\/p>\n

Those wounds can\u2019t be covered with a bandage or some fake smile. Even so, they can be covered. <\/p>\n

They can be covered by the blood of Jesus. They are are not beyond God\u2019s ability to heal.<\/p>\n

Notice that Scripture says God\u00a0binds up\u00a0our wounds. <\/p>\n

Binding is a process. <\/p>\n

Think about it: a doctor carefully wraps an injury to protect it while healing takes place. <\/p>\n

I think in much the same way, God often heals our hearts gradually. <\/p>\n

As we spend time in His presence, immerse ourselves in His Word, and trust Him day by day \u2013 it happens. <\/p>\n

He begins replacing despair with hope and bitterness with peace.<\/p>\n

God\u2019s Promise:<\/strong>\u00a0God doesn\u2019t ignore emotional pain. He lovingly restores wounded hearts one day at a time until healing begins to replace heartbreak.<\/p>\n
