Here\u2019s how to perform Timing-Based Catches in <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.operationsports.com\/games\/madden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Madden 27<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"h-how-to-enable-and-perform-timing-based-catches-in-madden-27\" data-injectable=\"false\">How to Enable And Perform Timing-Based Catches in Madden 27<\/h2>\n<p data-characters=\"290\" data-current-count=\"478\" data-injectable=\"false\">Like in <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.operationsports.com\/games\/ea-sports-college-football-27\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">College Football 27<\/a><\/em>, <strong>you can perform timing-based catches in <em>Madden NFL 27<\/em> by holding any catching input while the ball is in the air<\/strong> <strong>before letting go as it\u2019s about to reach your player<\/strong>. When controlling a defender, you can perform timing-based interceptions in the same way.<\/p>\n<p data-characters=\"469\" data-current-count=\"947\" data-injectable=\"true\">Holding the button will then cause the game\u2019s Timing-Based meter to appear if the ball is close enough. The meter will feature the staple green zone, highlighting its sweet spot, which will fluctuate based on your player\u2019s attributes, position, ease of catch, and how well they are marked (offense). To recap, here\u2019s how to perform perfect catches and interceptions in <em>Madden 27<\/em>:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\" data-found-items=\"5\" data-current-count=\"735\" data-injectable=\"true\">\n<li>Perform any type of pass, or wait for the ball to come your way when playing exclusively as the receiver or defender.<\/li>\n<li>Hold any Ball In Air catching input either immediately after the throw or as the ball gets closer to you. Holding it from the moment the ball goes into the air won\u2019t work for defenders.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u25b3\/Y: Aggressive Catch \/ Ball Hawk.<\/li>\n<li>Square\/X: RAC \/ SWAT.<\/li>\n<li>X\/A: Possession Catch.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Let go of the input as the ball is about to be caught (or as the gauge reaches the green zone in your meter).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-characters=\"321\" data-current-count=\"321\" data-injectable=\"false\">You can also enable perfect catching\/interceptions for under 5-yard plays by heading to Settings, Catching, and then lowering your Timing-Based Catching Min Distance values to 0 Yards.
