Not unlike short stories and novellas in the literary world, sometimes an abbreviated format is all that is needed to explore an idea or create a sense of immersion and cohesion. That is certainly the case with the compelling group of modern and post classical releases featured here by<strong> Alaskan Tapes<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Blu Miles<\/strong>, <strong>Michael A. Muller <\/strong>&amp; <strong>Otto A. That said, you likely won\u2019t want to wait to get started enjoying this delightful collaboration between <strong>Alaskan Tapes<\/strong> (Brady Kendall) and <strong>Blu Miles<\/strong>. Meditative piano lines and gentle saxophone weave together in serene fashion with occasional flourishes of warm acoustic guitar contributed by <strong>Ann Annie<\/strong>. Keep on eye &amp; ear out for the full release next month on Kendall\u2019s own We All Speak in Poems label. Muller<\/strong> (Balmorhea) and Otto A. Totland (Deaf Center) which is the inaugural release for the Brooklyn, NY based Ojas Music imprint recently founded by Muller along with artist and audio engineer <strong>Devon Turnbull<\/strong>. \u201cAnalog music for deep listening\u201d is the label\u2019s mission statement and this music fits the bill with Muller\u2019s delicately constructed crepuscular ambient textures woven around Totland\u2019s elegant piano lines. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Unna<\/em><\/strong> was released February 27, 2026, on CD, cassette, and vinyl by Ojas Music and features artwork by\u00a0Case Simmons. <\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Moshimoss \u2013 The Boy, the Girl, &amp; the Key<\/h2>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<p>\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Moshimoss - The Boy, The Girl &amp; The Key [Full EP]\" width=\"840\" height=\"473\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JQIqZxa7w38?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/span>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Order<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/moshimoss.bandcamp.com\/album\/the-boy-the-girl-the-key\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/moshimoss.bandcamp.com\/album\/the-boy-the-girl-the-key<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This late 2025 release was almost a missed gem for me. <strong><em>The Boy, The Girl, &amp; The Key <\/em><\/strong>is an original soundtrack Japanese composer <strong>Kosuke Anamizu <\/strong>aka <strong>Moshimoss<\/strong> which he developed for a short film of the same name written &amp; directed by Danish actor Lucas Lynggaard T\u00f8nnesen. The film, which is sumptuously shot mostly in black &amp; white, is presented as a \u201c\u201ca cinematic love story exploring the sparks of connection,\u201d\u201d that embraces \u201cthe beauty of chance, the wonder of discovery\u201d. Absent of any dialog, the music is key (no pun intended) to the immersion of the audience into the story and its development. That said, it stands alone beautifully as a pure listening experience as well.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>The Boy, The Girl, &amp; The Key<strong><em> <\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong>was released digitally on December 25, 2025.
