{"id":7033415,"date":"2026-08-08T09:18:39","date_gmt":"2026-08-08T09:18:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peraltafinancing.com\/uncategorized\/brittany-boltinhouse-says-politics-cost-her-miss-nc-usa-crown\/"},"modified":"2026-08-08T09:18:39","modified_gmt":"2026-08-08T09:18:39","slug":"brittany-boltinhouse-says-politics-cost-her-miss-nc-usa-crown","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fivemor.com\/?p=7033415","title":{"rendered":"Brittany Boltinhouse Says Politics Cost Her Miss NC USA Crown"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p index-data-stream=\"1\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">Former Miss North Carolina USA Brittany Boltinhouse is speaking publicly for the first time since losing her title, saying Friday that she believes her conservative politics and religious convictions may have contributed to the decision to take away her crown.<\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"2\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">\u201cI believe and think I was stripped from my title because of my political stance and my belief system as a conservative Christian woman,\u201d Boltinhouse, 27, said in a new interview with the Carolina Journal.<\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"3\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">Until now, Boltinhouse had largely stayed silent following her abrupt removal amid allegations involving racist posts on social media.<\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"4\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">\u201cI am proud of my faith \u2014 I am proud of my standards,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"5\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">In the interview, Boltinhouse repeatedly pointed to her identity as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and described herself as a \u201cGod-fearing woman,\u201d suggesting that her faith-centered worldview may have been a factor in the dispute.<\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"8\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">\u201cI believe we believe that we are a nation under god, and that\u2019s who I am and that\u2019s who my parents taught me to be \u2014 is a person who loves this country because this country has given me opportunity, and opportunity to show my religious beliefs, and I am proud of that,\u201d she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"9\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">Boltinhouse told the Carolina Journal that \u201call I can say is that I think and believe that my title was ripped from me because of my beliefs,\u201d framing the controversy as a clash over values rather than simply a pageant disciplinary matter.<\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"10\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">Still, she stopped short of saying whether conservative views generally place pageant contestants at a disadvantage.<\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"11\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">\u201cI won\u2019t be judged for my past, and I won\u2019t be judged at all because I am the woman I am today,\u201d she explains.<\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"12\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">For Boltinhouse, the sudden loss of the crown felt surreal: \u201cIt went from a dream to a nightmare, really fast.\u201d<\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"13\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">Considering herself a trailblazer for other conservative women, she purports that she is \u201cglad\u201d she is the subject of public ire instead of another pageant contestant with a weaker constitution.<\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"14\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">\u201cI\u2019m glad it happened to me and not some other woman or little girl that could be going through something mentally so hard, but I\u2019m able to handle it and I\u2019m at peace with it,\u201d she said, adding, \u201cI also want to say I want to forgive the ones who are doing this to me as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"15\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">\u201cI forgive them because that is what I was raised to do. My parents raised me to be that way,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"16\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">Boltinhouse says that her critics are not blessed with the same \u201cwisdom and knowledge\u201d she has to persevere in the face of adversity.<\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"17\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">\u201cI show a lot of grace, a lot of love, to those people, because I know they make mistakes too \u2014 I understand that they may not have the wisdom and knowledge that I do, but I forgive them, and I want you to know that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"18\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">She was formally dethroned from the position on Wednesday after pageant organizers performed a \u201cthorough review of recently surfaced information.\u201d<\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"19\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">The controversy surrounding the former beauty queen arose when she allegedly used the N-word multiple times and bizarrely referred to herself as \u201ctoxic\u201d in resurfaced posts under the username \u2018Sosa the Stallion.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"20\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">The crown was handed over to runner-up Myla Hadley following Boltinhouse\u2019s ouster.<\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"21\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">While she maintains that she doesn\u2019t know for certain if her conservative beliefs led to her dethronement, Boltinhouse asserts that expressing one\u2019s political views and feelings is a constitutional right and that she remains committed to standing by her principles.<\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"22\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">The Post has reached out to Miss North Carolina USA and A-Blaize Productions, which oversees the pageant, for a response to Boltinhouse\u2019s comments.<\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"23\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">Boltinhouse\u2019s family reportedly slammed pageant organizers for \u201csaving face\u201d after she was stripped of her title<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"24\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">\u201cI think it\u2019s important to put her truth out and have the proper narrative out versus a narrative that is saving the face [of] an organization,\u201d a relative told the Daily Mail<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"25\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">\u201cAs you can imagine, there\u2019s a lot we would like to say but we are taking the time to be in prayer and unity and [will] respond in a manner [that] God calls us to,\u201d the family member added.<\/p>\n<p index-data-stream=\"26\" data-extracted-layout=\"normalized\">The former beauty queen, who lives in Wilmington, allegedly used the N-word multiple times and called herself \u201ctoxic\u201d in resurfaced social media posts under the alias \u2018Sosa the Stallion\u2019 between 2017 and 2019, according to the NC Beat.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Former Miss North Carolina USA Brittany Boltinhouse is speaking publicly for the first time since losing her title, saying Friday that she believes her conservative politics and religious convictions may have contributed to the decision to take away her crown. \u201cI believe and think I was stripped from my title because of my political stance [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":7033416,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[101347],"tags":[196667,55010,11488,4967,6692,793],"dealstore":[],"offerexpiration":[],"class_list":["post-7033415","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-us","tag-boltinhouse","tag-brittany","tag-cost","tag-crown","tag-politics","tag-usa"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.4 -
