"gettingGetting the best value in China has a couple of aspects to look at. I first talked about China as a confirmed middle income country here. Lets dig in on how that looks to companies purchasing here.China has the world’s best manufacturing base, but now we have more reasons for optimism.

Skilled and management pay has stagnated starting in 2021 when housing prices plummeted leading to lowered spending everywhere and certainly solidified in 2023. Go go growth in salaries is clearly over.

Further, price wars among producers has made China marginally deflationary since 2022 with no end in sight.

All this is very helpful for those of you in need of good sourcing in China. Price of products stopped rising and salary of hires to assist in supply chain here stopped rising at the same time.

In the US, the Supreme Court declared Trumps tariffs illegal, and the vastness of what Trump did made China more affordable even without that. Even his worldwide chaos is settling down as Iran proved to be a quagmire.

One small issue is the Chinese currency is getting a more pricey due to all the sourcing going on. I guess it can’t be all good news.

Getting the Best Value in China is Getting Better

So, how is your sourcing? That first person is life changing if it is the right person. That first person colors your whole China experience, so it must be the right person.

SHI Group exists just to make sure you get the right hire and someone you never want to lose.

We will never be a company that finds you 3 resumes and hope we both get lucky. You hire us to find a specific kind of person in China, and we will not quit till we find just that person. That is a significant promise as our model leads us to kick out more people than you do. We have no other way to protect our 96% average of good hires. The result is that SHI Group works a lot harder than any recruiter you ever used in China or elsewhere. A great hire for you is not so far away now that you found SHI Group.
