Tell us about your background and how you first got connected to the startup ecosystem. How have you been helping startups since?<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thanks for having me! I\u2019ve always been fascinated with understanding human evolution and how humans operate, which is why I studied archaeology and anthropology. I\u2019m Croatian-born, Barcelona-based, and globe-oriented. Having lived in 6 countries and speaking 5 languages further enhanced my thirst for understanding people and societies. And it ultimately led me to my career as an international marketer. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A decade ago, I moved to Barcelona and started working at a marketing agency, focused on international startups. I quickly learned that even the most innovative products fail if their story doesn\u2019t translate. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Later on, I became an independent marketing consultant, working closely with founders and connecting technology with people. After all, whatever industry you\u2019re in, how you tell your story is crucial. When companies rely too heavily on AI, they often struggle to clearly articulate their unique value proposition. <\/span>This can alienate potential users, causing them to miss out on opportunities rather than gain loyal customers.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To truly stand out, it\u2019s more important than ever to humanize complex tech concepts and transform them into narratives that provide <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.onlinemarketingbff.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">real, relatable value<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. How do you achieve that? Trial and error. So my advice to founders is to stop guessing and start playing. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Focus on identifying your single power channel, and then run lean A\/B tests on your messaging to see what actually sticks. As opposed to the general tendency of omnipresence, doing one thing well beats doing a bunch of them flakily. You can use heatmaps and behavior tools to track the \u201cwhy\u201d behind every click. By iterating quickly based on real data, you can carve out an authentic niche.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Let\u2019s address brand visibility. If a founder feels their brand is currently invisible in a crowded market, what is the first hand-holding step you take to help them earn street recognition?<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If a brand feels invisible, it\u2019s usually because it is shouting into the void with the same generic message as everyone else.
