Lookers Motor Group is now representing Leapmotor in Liverpool and Chester.<\/p>\n
The Leapmotor range will initially include the T03, a compact fully electric city car, the D-Segment C10 SUV and the C-Segment B10 SUV.<\/p>\n
The range is set to expand further later this year after the recent arrival of the B05 hatchback with the B03X compact SUV.<\/p>\n
Leapmotors now has about 80 dealers in the UK, the majority of them working through Stellantis network brands.<\/p>\n
It plans to have 100 by the end of 2026, going outside the core Stellantis network to recruit new dealers.<\/p>\n
In October 2023, Stellantis became the single largest shareholder of Leapmotor buying a 21% stake.<\/p>\n
At the same time, Leapmotor International was launched as a 51% Stellantis and 49% Leapmotor joint venture with exclusive rights for the sale and manufacturing of Leapmotor products outside Greater China.<\/p>\n
In the year to July Leapmotor has sold 8,375 cars in the UK, giving it a market share of 0.65%.<\/p>\n
Lookers operations director, Dave Graham, said adding Leapmotor would give its customers greater choice.<\/p>\n

Leapmotor was founded in 2015 and has the backing of Stellantis.<\/p>\n
