Mysuru:<\/strong> Sri Andal Mandiram Trust, Mysuru, has organised a unique Upanyaasam (lecture) by religious lecturer and Ubhaya Vedanta scholar Sri U.Ve. Velukkudi Krishnan Swami on \u2018Maangalya Sthavam\u2019 sthothra from Sri Vishnu Dharmam at its premises in V.V. Puram from Aug. 7 to 9.<\/p>\n The lecture will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm on Aug. 7 and 8 and from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm on Aug. 9.<\/p>\n Profile: Sri U.Ve. Velukkudi Krishnan Swami is the son of Sri U.Ve. Velukkudi Varadachariar Swami, who was also his Guru. He is a Chartered and Cost Accountant. His spiritual services started in the year 1991 after the sudden departure of his father. He relinquished a senior position in an MNC in 1996 and totally dedicated to spiritualism from then on.<\/p>\n He knows four languages \u2014 Tamil, Sanskrit, Hindi and English. He is proficient in Bhagavad Gita, Alwars Nalayira Divyaprandam, Srimad Ramayanam, Srimad Bhagavatam, Vishnu Puranam, Vishnu Sahasranamam, Upanishads and all Vaishnavite scripts.<\/p>\n Swami delivers about 400 discourses in 365 days of a year. He travels relentlessly for 200 days in a year to deliver the message of the great preceptors and to strengthen Sanatana Dharma. \u00a0He has completed more than 33 years of continuous delivery of religious discourses.<\/p>\n He has given thousands of lectures all over India and in many countries abroad.<\/p>\n He has the unique accolade of publishing more than 400 MP3 CDs on various subjects containing over 5,000 hours of talk time. His CDs on the fundamentals of Sanatana Dharma had a grand reception. Author of two books \u2014 \u2018Kannanin Mukangulul Ezhu\u2019 and \u2018Naan Kanda Nalladu\u2019 \u2014 he has completed delivery detailed word to word explanation with inner meanings of all 4,000 songs of Alwars.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
