A recent data breach at Corewell Health<\/strong> has exposed the data of approximately one million patients.<\/p>\n

A breach occurred at Welltok, Inc., a software company, on May 30, 2023. It exposed names, dates of birth, email addresses, phone numbers, medical diagnoses, health insurance information and Social Security numbers of Corewell patients.<\/p>\n

The breach is the fourth largest this year.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Other companies were impacted nationally, but Corewell was the only company impacted in Michigan.<\/p>\n

Corewell is mailing a notice letter to those impacted by the breach.<\/p>\n
