As a mom, I\u2019ve learned that the deepest kind of security I can give my child is rooted in something bigger than me: the steady, unconditional love of God the Father. Father\u2019s Day is the perfect day to pause and remember just how personally and tenderly He loves each of us. Here are 10 ways He shows it.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">1. He Made You on Purpose<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Before you took your first breath, God was already thinking of you. Psalm 139 reminds us that we were intentionally and carefully formed \u2014 not an accident, not an afterthought. Every detail of who you are was placed there on purpose, by a Father who delights in His work.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">2. He Provides for What You Need<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In Matthew 6, Jesus points to the birds in the sky \u2014 they don\u2019t store up harvests, yet they\u2019re fed. If God cares for them, how much more does He care for His own children? His provision isn\u2019t always flashy, but it\u2019s faithful.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">3. He Listens Every Single Time<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">1 John 5 assures us that when we pray according to His will, He hears us. Not sometimes \u2014 every time. No prayer is too small, no worry too insignificant for His attention.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">4. He Corrects You Because He Loves You<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Hebrews 12 describes discipline as proof of relationship, not rejection. A good father guides his child away from danger and toward growth. When life corrects us or convicts our hearts, it\u2019s often love working quietly behind the scenes.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">5. He Forgives Without Keeping Score<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The story of the prodigal son in Luke 15 is one of the most moving pictures of fatherhood in all of Scripture \u2014 a father who runs to meet his returning child, no lecture first, just open arms. That\u2019s how completely God forgives.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">6. He Gave Up What Mattered Most for You<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">John 3:16 tells us that God\u2019s love moved Him to give His only Son, so that we could have life. That\u2019s not a love that stays at a safe distance \u2014 it\u2019s a love that sacrifices.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">7. He Never Walks Away<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Deuteronomy 31 and Hebrews 13 both carry the same promise: He will not leave you or abandon you. Through every season \u2014 the easy ones and the hard ones \u2014 He stays.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">8. He Comforts You in Your Lowest Moments<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">2 Corinthians 1 calls Him the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort. He doesn\u2019t just observe our pain from a distance; He meets us in it.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">9. He Calls You His Own<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">1 John 3 says it plainly: we get to be called children of God \u2014 not servants, not strangers, but family. That\u2019s an identity no one can take from you.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">10. He\u2019s Already Preparing a Place for You<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In John 14, Jesus tells His followers He\u2019s going ahead to prepare a place for them. A good father plans for his children\u2019s future. God is already preparing yours.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This Father\u2019s Day, as you hug your own dad or watch your husband with your kids, take a moment to thank your heavenly Father too. His love isn\u2019t conditional on a good day or a perfect performance \u2014 it\u2019s simply, fully there.
