The company has outlined some of the issues found and are in the midst of releasing a patch to fix these issues. Nintendo apologised to fans and said they appreciate their patience while the issues are fixed. Here\u2019s what was said via machine translation:<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe have received multiple reports regarding\u00a0Xenoblade 2: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition\u00a0where the number of accessory equipment slots decreases from\u00a03 to 2. After investigating, we have confirmed that this issue occurs under the following conditions:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>After starting\u00a0Advanced New Game, you used the\u00a0Accessory Expansion Kit, which can be obtained by exchanging Bonus EXP with the\u00a0Battle Bard\u00a0who appears in the field, increasing the accessory slots to\u00a03.<\/li>\n<li>You then scanned an\u00a0amiibo\u00a0via\u00a0System \u2192 amiibo\u00a0in the menu and received the\u00a0Bonus WP\u00a0reward.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>This issue does\u00a0<strong>not<\/strong>\u00a0occur if you receive any reward other than Bonus WP.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>The accessory that was equipped in the now-hidden third slot is\u00a0<strong>not lost<\/strong>.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We have also confirmed another issue in which the\u00a0battle BGM (background music) plays at a lower volume than intended.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are currently preparing an update to fix both of these issues.
