Anthropic has confirmed a major service disruption affecting several of its flagship AI models, with users reporting increased errors across both the Claude chatbot and developer APIs.<\/p>\n

According to the company\u2019s status page, the outage is impacting Claude Mythos 5, Claude Fable 5, Claude Opus 5, and Claude Sonnet 5. Anthropic said it has identified the root cause of the issue, and engineers are actively working on a fix.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have identified the cause of elevated errors on requests to Claude Mythos 5, Claude Fable 5, Claude Opus 5, and Claude Sonnet 5 and are working on a fix. We will provide an update as soon as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

The company later issued another update, confirming that work on resolving the incident is still ongoing.<\/p>\n

While Anthropic has not disclosed what caused the disruption<\/a>, the incident is affecting both Claude.ai users and developers who rely on the affected models through Anthropic\u2019s API. Users may experience failed prompts, slow responses, or temporary service interruptions until the issue is resolved.<\/p>\n
