First fill Bourbon barrels, refill bourbon casks and Madeira casks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This distillery is owned by Mossburn Distillers, and the distillery was founded in 2016. It now has a capacity of 500,000 litres of spirit per year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have visited this Distillery on two occasions, the first was many years ago, when the Distillery was under construction, with no signs of stills or other equipment. They were just constructing the buildings. The second time was more recent as the Distillery was up and running. I got a grand tour and a look around their ever-evolving visiting centre.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please visit torabhaig.com to check out the story of Torabhaig, which includes some terrific videos. This dram has no colouring added and no chill-filtration.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Torabhaig Taigh \u2013 Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky. 46% Alc\/vol, 70cl<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Colour<\/strong> \u2026Pale polished pine.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Nose<\/strong>\u2026A slight hint of smokiness, distant hill-burn of heather and gorse, the sea is nearby, the waves are washing on the pebble beach.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Taste<\/strong>\u2026A big chewy palate has charcoaled driftwood with a big sweetness, also making a showing, sea shore salty spray, quite a complex dram that\u2019s mouthfilling, lip smacking and satisfying\u00a0dram, a real armchair dram.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Finish<\/strong>\u2026Long and light spirit, a sweetness dancing sensually behind an almost transparent curtain of smoke.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well, I really enjoyed that dram, it had everything: smoke and sweetness.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This fine dram has an RRP of \u00a347.00 and is worth every penny. Again, check the Torabhaig website for stockists. I have to thank all at Torabhaig for sending The Whisky Boys a bottle to review and taste.
