The new single from Daxson and Sarah de Warren ‘Vixen’, released Dreamstate Records, is a vocal-led techno track.

‘Vixen‘ brings peak-time techno vibes, thanks to its relentless drive. The kick drum hits with precision. The percussion rolls forward with a sense of urgency that leaves no room for complacency.

Sarah de Warren’s vocal enters like a blade cutting through the noise. Her delivery is confident, almost commanding. There is no hesitation in her performance. She knows exactly what this track needs and she gives it everything.

The extended mix runs just under five minutes, which feels like the perfect length for a track of this nature. It gives Daxson enough room to build tension and release it in satisfying waves. The arrangement follows a classic structure but never feels predictable. There are moments where the production pulls back, creating space for Sarah’s vocal to breathe. Then the drums crash back in with renewed force. The breakdown, when it comes, is effective without being overly dramatic.
