This year, 13,672 products from around the world were blind-tasted by a panel of experts. Only 1,386 products managed to impress enough to earn a 2-star rating, making Mellow Session IPA part of an elite group deemed “above and beyond delicious.”

Described by the judges as “hop-forward with some truly punchy tropical flavours”, Mellow Session IPA is brewed with the finest Golden Promise malt and Citra hops. It’s an easy-drinking IPA that’s perfect for any occasion, whether you’re relaxing at home or out with friends.

Danny McColl, the man behind McColl’s Brewery, couldn’t be happier about the win. This award means a lot to us, and we are so proud to be adding the prestigious black and gold Great Taste badge of honour to our IPA.”

Danny adds, “Being recognised with a Great Taste 2-star means so much to independent producers like us. It makes all the hard work and determination worth it!
