The first was a witty, funny and a touch sad tale of a baby shower gone rogue – with amazing insights into how lost and lonely those initial months after having a baby can be.

Famous Last Words is a psychological thriller with a very intriguing premise – what would you do if your seemingly loving – non-criminal – husband took some people hostage, ended up all over the news, then he disappeared? Well ponder on it no more, you might react like lead character Camilla and try and find out just what on earth is really going on. A great read.

And lastly, another Agatha Christie to add to my list, Dumb Witness was another highly enjoyable outing for Poirot.

Looking forward, here are the 2025 books I’m very excited to read.
