If you\u2019re a Windows PC user who happens to use an iPhone you can now finally take advantage of Microsoft\u2019s Start menu phone integration as part of the Windows 11 operating system.<\/p>\n
Microsoft announced the news via a blog post<\/a> for Windows Insiders.<\/p>\n It says that the Start menu phone integration will make it easier for iPhone owners to share files between their PC and phone, while other integrations similar to those already available to users of Android phones are also available.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Connected iPhone users can now access their phone features directly from the Start menu. This seamless integration allows iPhone users to enjoy the same benefits as Android users, including ability to view phone\u2019s battery status and connectivity, ability to access messages and calls, and keeping track of the latest activities, all conveniently integrated into the Start menu.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Unfortunately, you\u2019ll need to be on the Dev or Beta Channel to get in on the act starting today, although it\u2019s only a matter of time before the new feature is rolled out to Windows users everywhere.<\/p>\n As far as requirements go, you\u2019ll need a Windows PC with Bluetooth Low Energy support as well as Windows Insider Preview Build 4805<\/strong> or higher in the Beta Channel or 26120.3000\u00a0<\/strong>and higher in the Dev channel.
