If you watched late night TV infomercials you\u2019ve seen it in action.<\/p>\n

Customer faces appear, one after the other, talking about how their life changed thanks this incredible ab-rolling machine.<\/p>\n

They just keep coming. Another happy buyer. Then another.<\/p>\n

Wow, this product really must work\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

And yes, I bought an ab-roller many years ago. I even used it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Humans trust other humans.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Especially when they look and sound like us.<\/p>\n

We are herd-animals. We follow.<\/p>\n

Decision making is hard and we don\u2019t like making mistakes.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s easier to make the same choice others did.<\/p>\n

This is why ad campaigns include testimonials.<\/p>\n

Sometimes it\u2019s overt and obvious, like online ads with testimonial after testimonial.<\/p>\n

It can be indirect, an influencer on social media showing how they use makeup or a celebrity drinking a vodka brand.<\/p>\n

The idea is to show that people make the choice to buy what you sell and they benefited.<\/p>\n

Thus it must be a good choice for other potential customers.<\/p>\n

Buyers talking about their experience with your product or service is also a disarming way to deal with objections and highlight specific benefits.<\/p>\n

If you explain why your product is worth the cost, you sound like a salesperson.<\/p>\n

When a third-party details the value they received using a deeply personal example, expressing emotion and appearing \u2018normal\u2019, that\u2019s compelling.<\/p>\n

Podcast host\u00a0Lex Fridman<\/strong>\u00a0became a client of ours over a year ago.<\/p>\n
