The piece begins minimally, with subtle, steady layers that evolve into a rich texture. Organic-sounding elements emerge within the electronic framework, evoking the silent beauty of space. After going their separate ways, the trio reunited during the lockdown, using the time to experiment with new sounds and approaches. Armed with home recording tools and inspired by their individual musical journeys, they began creating a fresh, genre-blurring sound.

Their music combines influences from ambient, classical, drone, rock, and jazz, often beginning with acoustic instruments before incorporating vintage synths, foley recordings, and layered vocals. The result is a sound that sometimes defies easy categorisation yet feels deeply personal and expressive.

Like this:

Like Loading…

CR&M, an eclectic trio with roots in Camden’s live music scene and a newfound focus on ambient and cinematic soundscapes, present two compelling tracks: Mir and Continue.
