I love Wendy Williams. Admittedly, I never watched much of her talk show\u2014just caught snippets here and there. But for some reason, I\u2019ve always liked her. Reading up on her background only solidified that.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s sad to see all the health and legal issues she\u2019s facing, and honestly, it\u2019s hard to make sense of it all. The latest? She fired her lawyer in her guardianship\/conservatore case. I still don\u2019t understand why she\u2019s under guardianship in the first place. Also, apparently, she was on The Breakfast Club podcast<\/a> earlier this month\u2014how did I miss that? Definitely listening later.<\/p>\n

Wendy Williams is making moves in her battle to end her guardianship.<\/em><\/p>\n

The former \u201cWendy Williams Show\u201d host, 60, reportedly fired her court-appointed attorney, Linda Redlisky, on Wednesday.<\/em><\/p>\n

Sources told TMZ that Redlisky got the pink slip after the attorney allegedly failed to file paperwork for a trial about whether Williams\u2019 guardianship was necessary when the TV star asked her to do so<\/em>. \u2013 New York Post<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Lawd, y\u2019all, this poor woman has been put through the wringer. Wendy Williams is only 60\u2014just two years older than me\u2014so how the hell did she end up in this mess?<\/p>\n

She says she\u2019s trapped in a \u201cluxury\u201d facility in New York, comparing it to a prison. Meanwhile, her so-called care team claims she\u2019s cognitively impaired, slapping her with a frontotemporal dementia and aphasia diagnosis back in 2023\u2014the same one Bruce Willis got just a year earlier. But Wendy insists she\u2019s fine. So who\u2019s really calling the shots here? And why does this whole situation feel so damn shady?<\/p>\n

This all started after a public spat with Wells Fargo and her former financial adviser, Lori Shiller, whom Wendy accused of conspiring to mismanage her money.<\/p>\n

So how does someone go from feuding with a bank to being stripped of their independence, placed under guardianship, and confined to a care facility? That\u2019s not just wild\u2014that\u2019s some downright absurd, messed-up shit. We\u2019re talking about a woman who built an entire empire, only to have her rights yanked away like she\u2019s incapable of making her own decisions. The fact that this all started over a financial dispute with Wells Fargo makes it even more suspicious. How does a banking issue spiral into total control over her life?
