Local SEO is not just a buzzword; it’s a fundamental practice that can significantly enhance a business’s visibility, particularly for those aiming to attract customers in their own neighborhood. Our marketing firm has had the privilege of collaborating with Enviroscapes, a landscaping company looking to boost their local footprint, for over a year now. By highlighting both the challenges they faced and the tactics we employed, we’ll shed light on how effective local SEO in Denver can transform your business landscape.

Last year, we wrote a client announcement piece on Enviroscapes when our partnership had just begun. However, in case you haven’t read that, here’s a bit of info about this awesome company.

Enviroscapes is a premier landscaping contractor located in the south metro area, specializing in the design and installation of stunning custom landscapes for luxury homes and properties. Unlike many landscaping companies that apply a generic design to every project, Enviroscapes understands that attention to detail is crucial. Their skilled team collaborates closely with homeowners to create their ideal outdoor retreat right in their own backyards, crafting tailored solutions for every space.

Their team adheres to the philosophy of “true design,” which emphasizes a personalized approach to every project. Their landscape architect considers all aspects of the property—like sightlines and sun exposure—ensuring that each client receives a landscaping solution that enhances and integrates seamlessly with their environment.

Since we began our partnership with Enviroscapes a year ago, our primary focus has been on revitalizing their digital marketing strategy and enhancing their local SEO in Denver. Historically, Enviroscapes relied heavily on word-of-mouth advertising, but they recognized the necessity of improving their online visibility.

Our team started by optimizing the content on their website(a critical aspect of website design and development) for SEO purposes to elevate our client’s organic search engine rankings. This involved substantial content updates on a redesigned website, including both front-end and back-end optimizations.

Once we established a solid SEO foundation, our next step was to create a comprehensive content marketing strategy that built on that momentum and aligns with customer needs throughout the sales pipeline. This includes generating monthly blog posts with carefully researched and localized keywords, updating and creating listings in online directories, and keeping their Google My Business page active. All of these efforts have been employed to ensure that when users search for phrases like “landscaping in Lone Tree,” our client appears at the top of the results.

Now that we are over a year into our collaboration with our client, we are happy to share that the Enviroscapes website showed remarkable performance, reflecting a significant overall growth in online traffic and engagement.

In October 2024, total traffic surged by an impressive 21% compared to the same time last year, demonstrating the effectiveness of ongoing marketing efforts and the appeal of the website’s content. Moreover, the month-over-month growth was even more striking, with total traffic rising by a substantial 33%.

Delving deeper into specific traffic sources, organic traffic—traffic derived from search engines—experienced a healthy increase of 18% YOY and an impressive 27% MOM. October also brought in an astounding increase of 350% in leads compared to the previous month.

Additionally, their Google My Business profile garnered increased attention, with views climbing by 77% compared to October 2023. Searches that displayed the business profile also experienced a significant 59% boost compared to the previous year.

For businesses aiming to boost their local presence and outpace competitors, Real FiG Advertising + Marketing is your trusted partner.
