So far, the group has garnered over <strong>50 million streams<\/strong> on Spotify alone, and <strong>Kinobe<\/strong> has also earned praise from tastemaker publications <strong>CLASH Mag<\/strong>, <strong>Mixmag<\/strong>,<strong> DJ Mag <\/strong>and<strong> Sputnik Music<\/strong>.<strong> <\/strong>Born in the UK and currently based in Perth, Australia, <strong>Kinobe<\/strong> was formed in 1998 in west London by childhood friends <strong>Julius Waters<\/strong> and <strong>Mark \u201cBlackie\u201d Blackburn<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u2018Lucky Stars\u2019 <\/em><\/strong>is a whimsical time-warp, melding together <strong>Kinobe\u2019s <\/strong>signature sparkle and tasty strings with crisp, strummed acoustic guitar, lilting flute melodies, a moving bassline, and succulent electric guitar licks.
