If you have never seen a corn field grow from the day of planting all the way through harvest I can help you out! On YouTube<\/a> I\u2019ve made a playlist dedicated to one of our corn fields growing in 2020. The corn you see is waxy corn<\/a> growing in the field surrounding our farm shop and our grain storage. <\/p>\n

We have done a few interesting things agronomically in the field this season. Some variable rate nitrogen was applied, but we also included some flat rate strips as checks. Our neighbors brought their high clearance Hagie sprayer in July to apply fungicide. They left a couple of check strips so we can evaluate the ROI of the fungicide pass after harvest.<\/p>\n
