They love planted fish<br \/>\ntanks with heaps of oxygen, &amp; dark substrate. They are popular for their<br \/>\nsmall size, &amp; beautiful black striping. Most of the Barbus species have<br \/>\nyellow or gold colour bodies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Barbus Fasciolatus is also known<br \/>\nas African Banded Barb fish. The minimum aquarium size for a group of six to<br \/>\neight Barbus Fasciolatus is twenty gallons. It is recommended to choose a<br \/>\nlarger aquarium to keep them happy. Do not keep this fish alone as it will<br \/>\nstress them. Keeping a group will make them happy &amp; active.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Does Barbus Fasciolatus need an aquarium<br \/>\nheater?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Barbus Fasciolatus is a beautiful<br \/>\nfreshwater fish that lives happily b\/w 20 to 26 \u00b0C. A sponge filter driven by air<br \/>\nis sufficient or if you have a power filter, then it is recommended to set the<br \/>\nfilter to low flow setting. In the wild, the African Banded Barb fish love slow<br \/>\nmoving water, with heaps of oxygen.
