That\u2019s remarkable, as you wouldn\u2019t normally have high expectations of a museum caf\u00e9. Good coffee is often more of a coincidence or a pleasant bonus. Right on the <strong>Museumplein<\/strong>, you\u2019ll find not one but two new hotspots under the name <strong>Fonda<\/strong>: <strong>Fonda Caf\u00e9<\/strong> and <strong>Fonda Bar<\/strong>, created by the owners of <strong>Oficina<\/strong> in Amsterdam West.<\/p>\n<p>The bar area is located in the entrance hall on the ground floor and is freely accessible to everyone, whether you\u2019re visiting the museum or not. <strong>Fonda Caf\u00e9<\/strong> is located on the first floor, near the building\u2019s iconic staircase. To see the caf\u00e9, you\u2019ll need a museum ticket or, of course, a <strong>museum card<\/strong>. Having coffee or lunch in a <strong>historic building<\/strong> surrounded by some of the world\u2019s most prominent artworks\u2014what\u2019s not to love?<\/p>\n<p>The menu at <strong>Fonda<\/strong> offers more than just good coffee and tea. They bake fresh treats daily, such as homemade banana bread and other cakes. The classic <strong>French omelette<\/strong><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">, as is the\u00a0<strong>oyster mushroom toast<\/strong> with fried egg, is also a must-try<\/span>.
