It\u2019s an exciting time to be a fan of the isekai powerhouse series Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-<\/em>, with Season 3 about to start in October. But let\u2019s not get ahead of ourselves\u2026 what you<\/em> need in your life right now is Season 2 of the series on Collector\u2019s Edition Blu-ray, right?<\/p>\n
We announced last October that we intended to follow-up our previous, incredible popular, release of the first season in Collector\u2019s Edition form with a release of Season 2 that followed a similar pattern, and today we\u2019re ready to reveal precisely what we have in store for you. There\u2019s no need to relive this moment over and over to find out what we\u2019re up to though \u2013 simply read on after the jump as we reveal all!<\/p>\n

Our Re:Zero Season 2 release plans<\/h2>\n
For you long-standing supporters who collected the first season of this hit series back in day, you should recognise our plan for Season 2 in Collector\u2019s Edition form, as we\u2019ll be releasing the show across two Collector\u2019s Edition Blu-ray sets (Part 1 and Part 2), complete with a glorious AllTheAnime.com exclusive storage box to allow you to house the entire series in a single box that will sit perfectly alongside that Season 1 release.<\/p>\n
We will, of course, also be releasing Part 1 and Part 2 of the series in a Standard Edition form alongside these Collector\u2019s Edition sets, so if that\u2019s your preference you won\u2019t miss out or have to wait as these editions will be available day and date alongside their Collector\u2019s compariots.<\/p>\n
Re:Zero Season 2 Part 1 Collector\u2019s Edition<\/h2>\n
Shockingly, let\u2019s start by taking a look at our Part 1 Collector\u2019s Edition \u2013 feast your eyes on this:<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n
Isn\u2019t she lovely? (And no, we don\u2019t mean Echidna)<\/p>\n
This first part of Season 2 features episodes 1 to 12 of the series with both English and Japanese audio with English subtitles, split across two Blu-ray discs. Now, when we said this release was similar to Season 1, we did omit one minor<\/em> detail which you\u2019ve probably already spotted above \u2013 a third disc, containing the first part of the Season 2 Original Soundtrack on CD!<\/p>\n
Beyond the discs, there\u2019s a lot to enjoy here \u2013 those three discs are presented in an artwork-adorned three-tray Digipak, you get an A3 poster of Echidna (okay, so maybe she is <\/em>lovely in her own way and we wanted to celebrate that) courtesy of one of the series\u2019 key visuals, and you\u2019ll also find a 52-page art book jam-packed with character artwork and info, backgrounds, props and a collection of key animation.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s a proper look at that part 1 slipcase, featuring Subaru and\u2026 I\u2019m actually not sure who that girl on the back is\u2026<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n
Then, we come to the piece de resistance \u2013 that webshop exclusive storage box. Behold!<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n
Honestly, I almost forgot to carry on writing this article, I was so captivated looking at the incredible artwork that adorns this storage box \u2013 and soon it can be yours to admire on your own shelf! Needless to say, this box will ship with the Part 1 Collector\u2019s Edition contained inside it, and space for Part 2 to be added separately upon its release.<\/p>\n

As you might expect, our Part 2 release closely mirrors Part 1, with two Blu-ray discs to complete the remainder of the series (episodes 14-25), alongside the second half of the Original Soundtrack on CD, all of which reside in a three-tray Digipack within a rigid slipcase. Also included is another A3 poster and an additional 52-page booklet of artwork, info and key animation.<\/p>\n
