Many congratulations to Escapee\u00a0Giorgos Konstaninou<\/a>\u00a0who is leaving Escape Studios – where he has been working as a Studio Assistant, and later as a Recruitment Officer -and joining\u00a0London-based\u00a0Eaglet Films<\/a>\u00a0as an Assistant Director.\u00a0<\/div>\n
Giorgos Konstaninou<\/a>\u00a0studied the Art of Computer Animation at Escape Studios, and worked on a number of award-winning short film projects.\u00a0\u00a0<\/div>\n
Most notably, Giorgos<\/a> directed the multiple-prize-winning short “Papercut<\/a><\/i>“.<\/div>\n
Eaglet Films<\/a>\u00a0is a BAFTA-Nominated animation company specialising in family entertainment.\u00a0 Recent projects include\u00a0Channel 4 Christmas specials \u2018Quentin Blake\u2019s Clown\u2019 and \u2018Terry Pratchett\u2019s Abominable Snowbaby\u2019.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

While at Escape Studios,\u00a0Giorgos<\/a>\u00a0directed the award-winning short film “Papercut<\/i>“, which was completed as part of the VFX Project, in which VFX and animation students come together to work on a group project, designed to simulate as closely as possible a real animation studio production.\u00a0 In early 2022 Giorgos also contributed to the award-winning short film “Explosive Love”<\/a><\/i> as editor and animator.\u00a0<\/div>\n

Rookie of The Year<\/b><\/p>\n

In 2022\u00a0Giorgos Konstaninou<\/a> was ranked in the annual “Rookie of the Year” Competition, in the category of 3D Animation at the 2022 Rookies.\u00a0 The Rookies are an important showcase for international animation talent and we recommend that all our students enter.\u00a0 \u00a0Giorgos<\/a> is currently in his third year of studies at Escape Studios, studying for his BA in the Art of Computer Animation<\/a>.\u00a0<\/div>\n
