Rosie devised this fun book tag for the review team members.

""

1) Most memorable book from the 2024 books submitted to #RBRT

Salt of the Earth by JJ Marsh. Beautifully and sensitively written based on true events and how a doctor’s persistence changed lives.

~~~~~~~
2) An author whose books you always agree to review from the #RBRT list
Carol Hedges
~~~~~~

3) 3 authors that you were pleased to discover from your whole time as a #RBRT team member.

Harriet Steel

Mimi Matthews

Caren J Werlinger

~~~~~~
4) A book from any year on our list that really surprised you.
Irex by Carl Rackman. I really loved it. Based on fact, its a very intriguing and harrowing story, filled with action, adventure, mystery and murder.
~~~~~~

5) A book from a genre that you don’t often read, but you tried it for #RBRT

The Replacement Chronicles by Harper Swan. It’s set in the prehistoric period, a genre I don’t think I’d read before, and it was excellent.

~~~~~~
6) A genre that you don’t usually read but would if a book on the #RBRT list tempted you.
Science Fiction isn’t a genre I normally go for but who knows…
~~~~~~

7) How long have you been reviewing for #RBRT?

It must be 10 years…or perhaps even longer!

~~~~~~
8) What do you enjoy about being part of #RBRT?
Finding new authors and books. In a lot of cases they probably wouldn’t have been on my radar. Also meeting people who have become friends.
~~~~~~

9) 3 Authors that you hope to see submit a new book for review in 2025

It would be interesting to see what Chas Halpern (The Physics of Relationships) comes up with next. I’m always up for another book in Carol Hedges Victorian Detective series and Harriet Steel’s series set in 1940’s Ceylon.

~~~~~~
10) Top books (5 or less) that you reviewed for #RBRT in 2024
Tears Are Only Water. A thought provoking read.
The Physics of Relationships. A very perceptive and clever novel.
Pride & Pestilence. I love this historical series set in Victorian London.
Bella’s Country Christmas. A delightful story with a lovely twosome in Bella and Jack as well as an engaging cast of well fleshed out characters.
