I’m pleased to share my review for One Day and Forever for the blog tour organised by Rachel’s Random Resources.

![""]("https://betweenthelinesbookblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/one-day-and-forever.png?w=700")

My Thoughts

One Day and Forever follows the fortunes of Kara McIntyre, Ollie Chiles, Alice Brookes and Zac Conlan over a New Year’s Day which spanned several years. Glasgow airport is a trigger for them all. They have no idea what’s in store. The way the story is written with the well crafted, realistic and intricate characters’ feelings, perspectives, hopes and dreams interwoven, and shown throughout this span of several timelines, evokes emotions which give the reader an immediate involvement with each of them. Lives are reassessed as circumstance plays its part with surprise twists and not a small amount of tension.

Kara’s life had crumbled in such a short time. Not only had she called time on the job she loved….

It had all been perfect. A dream that was coming true, right up until… Kara tried to block the thought. The fact was that three days ago, she was gainfully employed at the Clydeside TV studio, home of The Clydeside, Scotland’s longest-running, twice weekly soap, managing their costume department, doing a job she adored. Now she was not.

Kara had also called off her dream wedding.

Ollie, Alice and Zac also have challenges, discoveries and changes to navigate through, including friendships, trust and hopes for the future, showing how a single day can alter perspectives and change lives. A trending video set Ollie on the path to a new venture. A chance meeting at a funeral gave Alice much food for thought and the opportunity to offer help to someone in need. Zac had high hopes after a unplanned but fateful meeting.

A delightful, warm and character driven story.

Kara McIntyre is supposed to be jetting off to her destination wedding in Hawaii. However, a last-minute hitch appears to have left her without a job, home and, more importantly, a fiancé.

TV sensation Ollie Chiles and Kara always have each other’s backs. But when his wife goes viral in a compromising clinch with another man, Ollie must choose between supporting his best friend in her hour of need or going home to save his marriage.

Alice Brookes is flying away to a new life after surviving a horrendous marriage and a very public scandal… until a stranger brings a letter from the past that could change everything.

After saying goodbye to someone he loves, Zac Conlan should be heading back to Dublin. Now a shocking discovery is threatening to change his plans and his future.

When weather delays their flights, Kara, Ollie, Alice and Zac discover that storms are brewing… and the turbulence is about to shake their worlds.

Purchase Link – https://mybook.to/OneDayandForever
