The A380 will take off at 11:15 local time as flight LH480 and land in Denver at 13:45 local time. The return flight departs at 16:15 local time and lands back in Munich at 10:50 local time the following day.\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"article-leaderboard bn-1\"\/>\n<p>\u201cThe Airbus A380 service to Denver is not only a first for Lufthansa, but also for the airport itself,\u201d said Heiko Reitz, CCO Lufthansa Airlines. \u201cIt is the first time that a scheduled flight with an aircraft of this size will land there.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In summer 2025, eight Airbus A380s, each with 509 seats, will be based at the airline\u2019s hub in Munich, the press release added. The other destinations include New York (JFK), Boston, Washington, Los Angeles, Delhi and Denver.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Lufthansa has been flying non-stop from Munich to Denver for nine years and from Frankfurt for 25 years.
