New data from crypto analytics platform Arkham reveals that President Donald Trump\u2019s decentralized finance (DeFi) platform has become a top 0.1% holder of staked Ethereum (stETH<\/a>) after gobbling up tens of millions of dollars worth of ETH.<\/p>\n In a new thread on the social media platform X, Arkham says<\/a> that World Liberty Financial (WLFI) \u2013 which launched earlier this year \u2013 is staking $33 million worth of the top altcoin, making them a top 0.1% holder of stETH.<\/p>\n The data also unveils<\/a> other notable holdings of WLFI, which include $182 million worth of ETH, $55.6 million worth of the stablecoin USDC<\/a>, $48 million worth of Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC<\/a>), $6.9 million worth of crypto lending protocol Aave (AAVE)<\/a>, and $6.2 million worth of decentralized oracle provider Chainlink (LINK<\/a>).<\/p>\n Arkham goes on to note that WLFI purchased<\/a> both ETH and WBTC on January 20th, the day of Trump\u2019s second inauguration, to celebrate his return to the White House.<\/p>\n \u201cTrump\u2019s World Liberty Finance bought $47 million of [wrapped] BTC and $47 million of BTC to celebrate his inauguration as 47th President of the United States of America.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n According to WLF, it also accumulated<\/a> $4.7 million worth of AAVE, LINK, Justin Sun\u2019s Tron (TRX<\/a>) and stablecoin protocol Ethena (ENA<\/a>) each on that day as well.<\/p>\n The top smart contract platform by volume is trading for $3,285 at time of writing, a fractional decrease during the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n Don’t Miss a Beat \u2013 Subscribe<\/a> to get email alerts delivered directly to your inbox <\/span><\/em>   Generated Image: DALLE3<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
