I got this question from a reader the other day that I have gotten enough times that I thought it was worth addressing. <\/p>\n

The question, \u201cDoes God care about my finances?\u201d often comes from a place of deep pain and struggle. <\/p>\n

When the bills are piling up, health challenges strike, and it feels like you\u2019re taking one step forward and twelve steps back, it\u2019s natural to wonder if God sees your financial struggles.<\/p>\n

The simple answer is clear: Yes, God deeply cares about your financial situation. <\/p>\n

Not because money itself matters to Him, but because YOU<\/strong> matter to Him. <\/p>\n

He cares about every detail of your life, including your finances.<\/p>\n

Throughout Scripture, we see God\u2019s heart for those in financial distress:<\/h2>\n

\n

Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you.<\/em> <\/p>\n

Psalm 55:22<\/em><\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n

Make no mistake, this includes financial<\/em> cares<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\n

\u201cAnd my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n

Philippians 4:19<\/em><\/cite><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n

Notice it doesn\u2019t say \u201csome needs\u201d but \u201call needs.\u201d <\/p>\n

And when Jesus taught us to pray, He included \u201cGive us this day our daily bread\u201d \u2013 acknowledging God cares about our practical, daily needs. <\/p>\n

But I believe God\u2019s primary concern isn\u2019t just getting us out of financial difficulty. <\/p>\n

Rather, His deeper work is often IN the struggle itself, where He shapes our character, teaches us to trust Him, and transforms our relationship with money. <\/p>\n

A few more thoughts to consider:<\/h2>\n

  1. Your struggle isn\u2019t punishment \u2013 it\u2019s often preparation.<\/strong> Like Joseph\u2019s years in prison before becoming second-in-command of Egypt, God frequently uses seasons of lack to prepare us for what\u2019s ahead.<\/li>\n
  2. True financial freedom<\/a> isn\u2019t about having more money \u2013 it\u2019s about having trust in your Provider with all the provision you will ever need. <\/strong>Regardless of whether or not God God\u2019s solution involves more income, you can know that His desire is for you to have His peace that passes understanding even in the midst of the storm.<\/li>\n
  3. God often works gradually rather than instantly. <\/strong>While He can and does perform instantaneous financial miracles, He frequently chooses to guide us through a process of learning, growing, and developing new habits and mindsets around money.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Bottom line, if you\u2019re wondering if He cares about your financial situation, here\u2019s what you need to know:<\/h3>\n
