This year, the incredible dedication and passion of Animal Equality volunteers have driven monumental progress for animals across the globe.

From changing laws and corporate policies to amplifying voices in protests and digital actions, your commitment has sparked a wave of change for millions of animals.

We’ve shown that collective action can create a more compassionate world. Let’s take a moment to celebrate the achievements you helped make possible.

You contacted your representatives urging them to support the inclusion of the SAFE Act in the Senate’s Farm Bill, which would prevent US horses from being shipped abroad for slaughter.

You took action against dozens of restaurant chains—including Denny’s and Sonic—for allowing extreme animal abuse for pregnant mother pigs.

You joined over 254,000 digital actions this year to defend animals worldwide, pushing companies like Abba Hotels in Spain, Grupo Pão de Açúcar in Brazil, and Kewpie in Japan to commit to ending the use of cages. Thanks to your efforts, millions of hens will now live better lives.

You helped us celebrate International Animal Rights Day, showing the world that all animals deserve protection and respect.

You educated thousands of people about the realities of industrial farming through our iAnimal VR project at events and trade fairs, inspiring many to eliminate animal products from their diets.

Not only that, but you took a stand against Aldi’s double standards in animal welfare by participating in protests and online actions in Germany and the USA. Your efforts exposed their support for the cruel practice of caging pregnant pigs and hens in the U.S.

You supported our exposé showing buckets full of dead salmon being removed from a fish farm just hours before Scottish politicians arrived for a Parliamentary ‘fact-finding visit’, sparking a one-hour discussion in the Scottish Parliament. This continued scrutiny finally gives fish the legal attention they desperately need.

You spoke up for ducks and geese force-fed for foie gras in a campaign to remove the product from the VIP hospitality menu at the Olympics.

You persuaded the UK’s Labour Party to recognize 289,000 petition signatories and publicly pledge to ban foie gras imports—an action impacting over one million ducks and geese annually. We’ll keep working with you to turn this promise into law!

You helped change history for animals in Mexico! Your support led to the inclusion of animals in the Constitution and a transformation of the Animal Welfare Law in Colima, protecting nearly 9 million animals and making it the second state in Mexico to safeguard farmed animals.

You helped us gather and present over 100,000 signatures to the Spanish Congress of Deputies, demanding a ban on force-feeding ducks for foie gras. Your involvement also led to the government questioning this cruel practice, keeping the pressure on for a change.

You continue to choose compassion over cruelty by eating plant-based. Each plant-based meal is a bold step toward breaking down factory farming. It’s not just about what you eat—it’s about leading the way and showing others the impact of choosing compassion.

SAVE ANIMALS FROM ABUSE

Pigs, cows, and other animals feel pain and deserve to be protected from abuse.

You can protect these intelligent animals by simply choosing plant‑based alternatives.

You make a difference

Every action you take—signing a petition, attending a protest, or sharing a campaign—helps create a ripple effect that leads to lasting change.

We’ve proven that a united voice for animals can break barriers, inspire compassion, and challenge the status quo.

Let’s continue building on these victories and work toward an even brighter future for animals worldwide. Thank you for standing with us and for them!
