Ch\u00e2teau du Tertre is usually among, but priced a little above, the more affordable group of the Bordeaux cru class\u00e9s.  The 2022 vintage of Ch\u00e2teau du Tertre has rich aromas of very ripe blackcurrant together with cedar and pencil lead characters.  The power reminds of Napa.  However, while rich, the palate retains its Bordeaux character.  It\u2019s medium bodied, with flavours of blackcurrant and youthful green wood.  Long length on the finish promises a long future.\u00a0 Overall, this is a very good, high quality wine.
