Hey everyone, or maybe no one? Goodness knows how long it\u2019s been since I sat down and typed out a blog post. You can tell it\u2019s been a while, and I feel a little nervous coming back to my blog. But after five years of being absent, I need my blog back. I need my safe space on the internet back, and, now more than ever, I need a creative outlet again.<\/p>\n

When I started documenting my mental health online, I was only 13, and I did it for very different reasons than what I do now \u2014 or maybe they\u2019re still aligned; you\u2019ll understand shortly. When I was 13<\/a>, I used my blog as a secret online diary to document my mental health and my challenges with bullying at school, navigating a negative body image, and anxiety. But throughout all of life\u2019s ups and downs, my blog and my social media channels have been my refuge during life\u2019s toughest moments (and the good moments too!).<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve decided to come back to my blog<\/a> to reignite my passion for writing again. I lost my passion slowly over the past five years as my full-time job took precedence<\/a>. But as I\u2019ve realised over the past couple of months, I should work to live, not live to work, and my blog shouldn\u2019t ever feel like a chore; it should feel exactly like it did years ago \u2014 a sanctuary for creativity.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been yearning to start my blog again, but I\u2019ve doubted myself, my abilities, and I\u2019ve let procrastination and self-doubt hold me back. Things are changing. Nobody ever grew from staying in their comfort zone, did they? So I\u2019m taking the leap \u2014 it feels a little uncomfortable, but so does everything at the beginning.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s without a doubt that the online space has changed drastically in the past five years, and I\u2019ve had to adapt, but I still love blog posts (and long-form content in general), and for that reason, I\u2019m hoping I\u2019ll find an online community that loves them too. If you\u2019re reading this and you love blog posts, please let me know in the comments or message me directly.<\/p>\n

Amidst the chaos of the online space \u2014 fast-paced content that doesn\u2019t truly connect, and endless chatter about what you should and shouldn\u2019t be doing with your life \u2014 I\u2019m hoping I can create a place where you can switch off, disconnect to reconnect, and find a moment of solace.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m here to share my journey to help you feel less alone. Through uplifting reminders and honest reflections, I turn struggles into sources of strength and hope. This space is filled with colour, positivity, and gentle reminders you didn\u2019t know you needed (not much has changed in five years, haha!) \u2014 all here to remind you that brighter days are always possible.<\/p>\n

My life has changed a lot in five years, but my core principles have stayed the same, and I\u2019ve navigated some really difficult moments. Those moments have also guided me to incredible ones. During every low, I yearned for my blog, and now I\u2019m finally making it happen.<\/p>\n

I hope you\u2019ll join me on this journey, get involved, and maybe feel even a little better reading my content. I feel like a beginner again, but I know I\u2019m writing from experience, so it will all come back soon. And in the coming weeks, I\u2019ll be sharing more about mental health, creativity, and finding balance in life \u2014 I hope you\u2019ll stick around and be part of the conversation.<\/p>\n
