This time, Zupan&#8217;s partnered with Laurelwood Brewing to bring us Farm-to-Market Mega Mammoth Imperial IPA. Text in italics is provided by Zupan&#8217;s Markets:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: inherit\"><i>Partnering with Portland\u2019s Laurelwood Brewing to develop the new Mega Mammoth Imperial IPA, the latest Farm-to-Market release is brewed with a classic hop profile of Simcoe, Cascade, and Mosaic with a new Sultana hop twist, giving this old-school style IPA big notes of tropical pineapple and oranges. This beer finishes dank, with beautiful dryness and piney notes to balance out the fruit, the perfect brew to sip on a warm and sunny summer day.<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: normal;margin: 0px;min-height: 15px\"><span style=\"font-family: inherit\"><i>&#8220;We are excited to be celebrating Laurelwood Brewing&#8217;s 21st birthday with this collaboration, creating a beer that is very special to me as I spent more than 10 years with them prior to my role at Zupan\u2019s Markets,&#8221; says Burnside store director and creator of the Farm-to-Market program, Micah Bell. &#8220;This Imperial IPA was brewed with nostalgia in mind, combining some of my favorite IPA recipes that LBC has brewed over the past two-plus decades.\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: normal;margin: 0px;min-height: 15px\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"line-height: normal;margin: 0px;min-height: 15px\"><b>My Thoughts: &nbsp;<\/b><span style=\"font-family: inherit\">The beer was released in early June, and Zupan&#8217;s sent me a sample. Color is a&nbsp;<\/span>deep<span style=\"font-family: inherit\">&nbsp;golden. Aroma is full of&nbsp;<\/span>orange, pineapple, and a bit of pine. In taste, orange dominated. I can&#8217;t think of another IPA that has such strong orange flavor. It&#8217;s unusual and I like it! Its medium to full bodied, and finishes dry with a touch of alcohol.
