The updates come directly in response to feedback from users looking for a cleaner media timeline.<\/p>\n<p>The first update addresses the timeline layout. Users can now toggle date headers on or off in the main photo grid, providing a seamless stream of images without date interruptions.<\/p>\n<p>Shimrit Ben-Yair, VP &amp; GM, Google Photos, Google One and AI Subscriptions, said today, \u201cFeedback received and papercuts fixed! We\u2019ve just rolled out two small fixes in Google Photos based on your requests.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>How to turn off photo grid dates<\/h2>\n<p>To hide date headers in the main gallery view:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Open the <b>Google Photos<\/b> app.<\/li>\n<li>Tap your <b>profile picture<\/b> or <b>initials<\/b> in the top right corner.<\/li>\n<li>Select <b>Photos settings &gt; Preferences &gt; Photos view<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Toggle <b>Show dates in grid<\/b> on or off.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The second update tweaks the sticker creation tool launched last year, which lets users cut out subjects from photos.
