A\u00a0good property management software\u00a0will end up saving you a lot of time &amp; headaches with some of the tedious work that is involved in managing your properties. Property management software will also help protect you legally, should you ever need it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Consider some of these key features found in the top property management applications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communication\u00a0via email or SMS<\/li>\n<li>Log file of all past communications<\/li>\n<li>Tracking notes on tenants &amp; properties<\/li>\n<li>Onsite property inspections\u00a0(great for accountability)<\/li>\n<li>Document management<\/li>\n<li>Online rent payments<\/li>\n<li>Work order management\u00a0(identify property abusive tenants)<\/li>\n<li>Accountability tracking<\/li>\n<li>Automated tasks\u00a0such as recurring invoices, late fee calculations, late invoice reminders and syndication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3>Moving In<\/h3>\n<p>Next, before the move in date, be sure that you conduct a move-in inspection. This will note the condition of the property at the time your new tenant takes possession.
