Some places take my breath away, and some are not right up my alley. Read this review of Cintai Corito\u2019s Garden Batangas to know my impression of the place.<\/p>\n

I was scrolling through Agoda and got intrigued by Cintai Corito\u2019s Garden\u2019s pictures of its Balinese-inspired place. So, I booked a day tour and, frankly, expected a lot. We reached the resort via the STAR tollway with the help of the ever-reliable Google Maps.<\/p>\n

True to its claim, the property\u2019s facade felt like I was in Bali. The front desk\u2019s personnel was friendly and gave us all the details that we needed.<\/p>\n

We directly went to the Abadi Restaurant to have our lunch. It was a buffet lunch, and the food was limited to roast beef, vegetables, and roast chicken. What do I think about the food? To put it simply, I just wished we ate somewhere else before heading to this place. As you have probably guessed right, a second round did not happen. When we were there, the restaurant was poorly lit, the utensils looked a little dirty, and the whole place felt gloomy. The heavy rain did not help as well. One consolation that day was the watermelon tasted very sweet.<\/p>\n

We decided to go around this sizable place. They have several facilities like pools for adults and kids, a koi pond, a gazebo, a lagoon, and a mini forest, just to name a few. Guests who availed of the day-tour package are also allowed to use the pools. Although we had the pools all to ourselves, some toe-dipping was enough for me.<\/p>\n

We then proceeded to the Elephant Portal and the other Portal to take some<\/del> a lot of photos. We bumped into several statues and a couple of pavilions as we went around.<\/p>\n

It was raining at that time, so it was hard to go from one place to another as the walkways were slippery. Also, there were loads of mosquitoes! So we decided to leave the place at once. We passed by the shower room because I wanted to change my clothes and pee, but, oh my golly, we were the only people in that area, and it felt eerie that I forgot to pee! (sorry, TMI).<\/p>\n

Oh, before we left Cintai, we claimed our merienda<\/em>, which was included in the package we bought. The merienda<\/em> was suman<\/em> and pancit bihon,\u00a0<\/em>but we only got the suman. And I loved it so much!<\/p>\n

The place is very Instagrammable and perfect for people who want to do plenty of awra<\/em>. As for me, what I liked most about visiting the place was the staff. They were kind, approachable, and friendly. But, in general, Cintai Corito was not just for me. The package we got cost Php 1,500 per person, and I think we did not get the most bang for our buck. Also, sayang<\/em> because the weather sucked when we went there! I think I would have enjoyed the place better if it was only sunny.<\/p>\n
