What is written has more weight than what is said.
\nAlways. That is why, when something is important, we write it down. That is
\nwhy, in any courtroom, jurors will believe documents over witness testimony.<\/span><\/p>\n

Unfortunately, clients often forget this, if they even
\never stopped to think about it in the first place. And the handy \u201cdelete\u201d
\nbutton on our various devices leads one to believe that whatever is written in
\nemails or texts, or posted on social media doesn\u2019t really exist in the same way
\na written document does. We now know all too well the inaccuracy of that
\nbelief.<\/span><\/p>\n

Educate your clients, experts and lay witnesses.
\nE-impressions are just as important as the impression your client, witness or
\nexpert makes on entering the courtroom. You need to know what e-impressions
\nalready exist, should damage control be required, and emphasize to your
\nclients, experts and witnesses the absolute necessity of being vigilant about how
\nthey are perceived online.<\/span><\/p>\n

The same goes for your team. They must manage their
\nonline presence with the same care they manage all other aspects of their
\npractice.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is nothing evanescent about virtual reality; in
