Brown Brothers Harriman Trust Company, N.A.<\/em><\/a>, No. 4D2024-0950 (Fla. 4th DCA May 14, 2025), provides essential guidance for trust practitioners navigating this complex issue.\u200b<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"the-statutory-framework-fs--7360707\" class=\"mb-2 mt-4 font-display font-semimedium text-base first:mt-0 md:text-lg [hr+&amp;]:mt-4\">The Statutory Framework: F.S. \u00a7 736.0707<\/h2>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&amp;+p]:mt-4 [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&amp;_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">Florida\u2019s Trust Code imposes continuing obligations on trustees even after their removal. Brown Brothers held the reserve in fixed-income assets and cash already within the trust portfolio.
