Kate in the team got to test-run the experience to ensure it’s all good to go before launching with the public, this is what she had to say:

Having been coming to the NMA for over 10yrs, (and now working here) I’ve often wondered what it would be like to work within the Aquarist team and care for the amazing animals. It’s such a brilliant and full day of learning, interaction and actually getting to do some of the jobs for the animals’ welfare. It’s such a different day, and I absolutely loved it and came away talking non-stop about it.

![""]("https://www.national-aquarium.co.uk/app/uploads/Keeper-for-a-Day-6-1-scaled.jpg")

Henry, who also took part had this to say:

I had an amazing time! I really enjoyed getting to do what visitors can’t normally see, such as the exhibits being cleaned and the animals being fed up close. I’d recommend it, as it’s a lot more interactive than some activities elsewhere.
